5,500 wine entries from over 1,500 wineries from more than 25 states,
the top five 2012 San Francisco Chronicle Wine Competition sweepstake

than 65 judges, ensuring the highest and in-depth knowledge of the wine

SAVE THE DATE: The San Francisco Chronicle Wine Competition Public
Tasting will be held at Fort Mason Center in San Francisco on February
18, 2012. Tickets are $65 when purchased in advance from
www.winejudging.com. The
Public Tasting is always a sold out event, so don’t wait until the last
minute to purchase your tickets; admittance, if still available the day
of the Tasting, is $80 at the door.
Founded in 1983 as the modestly sized Cloverdale Citrus Fair Wine
Competition, the SFCWC has evolved for the past quarter of a century,
expanding its eligibility to wineries throughout the United States.
Proceeds benefit the Santa Rosa Junior College Wine Studies and Culinary
Programs; the Enology / Wine Programs at CSU Fresno and Cal Poly, San
Luis Obispo.
The 2012 San Francisco Chronicle Wine Competition is grateful to the
