2007 Maverick Special Tasting

The 2007 Special Tasting will feature Maverick American Eatery & Wine Bar. The mezzanine level of Fort Mason’s Festival Pavilion, with its panoramic views, has been reserved for this event within an event. This exclusive wine and food tasting will feature a special selection of the competition’s double gold and gold medal winning wines served with hors d’oeuvres prepared by Maverick, voted San Francisco’s Best New Restaurant for 2006 by the readers of San Francisco Magazine.
From the moment owners Mike Pierce (General Manager & Wine Director) and Scott Youkilis (Executive Chef) opened the doors of Maverick at 3316 17th Street in the Mission district of San Francisco in 2005, the restaurant has been serving up some of the most original and inventive cuisine The City has seen and has garnered a superlative following among residents and visitors.
