It’s More Than a Wine Tasting

The Public Tasting of the largest competition of American wines in the world is much more than just a wine tasting – it’s a wine and food experience. Featured at this event will be a sampling of hand crafted creations from premier artisan food purveyors, which will include award winning artisan breads, savory meats, exotic oils, hand crafted cheeses, delicious desserts, sumptuous sauces, and other exquisite delicacies.

Regional gourmet website SavorCalifornia.com, specializing in specialty foods and beverages, has arranged for many of its partners to provide, and sell, their exclusive fare. Staff and students from the California Culinary Academy will be preparing mouthwatering morsels utilizing the finest quality ingredients donated by California Lamb, & Niman Ranch. The Santa Rosa Junior College Culinary Arts students will be showing off their skills with gourmet hors d’oeuvres, and Clover Stornetta Farms is also a generous contributor to the event.

Food and Wine paring is an essential part of enjoying wine and many even consider it an art. The San Francisco Chronicle Wine Competition is committed to providing all their guests with the ultimate tasting experience and will bring in students from the California Culinary Academy and Santa Rosa Junior College Culinary program to add to the flavors of the day.
