Tim
Patterson writes about adult beverages from Berkeley, California. In
previous lives, he wrote about national politics, television, techie
stuff and hillbilly music. He roots for glamour-free wine regions and
low-profile grapes; wants to know how wine is really made; and
bottles his own in his garage. He does the monthly Inquiring
Winemaker column for the industry trade magazine Wines & Vines;
writes for consumers in the Wine Enthusiast; and expounds about
home winemaking for WineMaker. He co-authored (with Jim Concannon)
Concannon: The First One Hundred Twenty Five Years, a history of
that venerable Livermore Valley winery. And of course, he maintains
(erratically) a blog, Blind Muscat’s Cellarbook. |
