Kryss Speegle holds a Master's degree in Food Science/Enology from the University of California at Davis, where she studied under Dr. Ann Noble, creator of the Wine Aroma Wheel. She has worked in California, Germany and New Zealand and is currently the Assistant Winemaker at Kenwood Vineyards. She also teaches a wine evaluation course at Santa Rosa Junior College.
