Gerald D. Boyd is the San Francisco Chronicle Staff Wine Writer and a free lance contributor on wine and spirits to national and international magazines. Boyd is also the Chief Judge for the Pacific Rim International Wine Competition, San Bernardino and Director of Commercial Wine Judging, San Francisco Bay Wine Competition at the Alameda County Fair.
