After winning the "Award of Ultimate Distinction" from the Wine Enthusiast for Hacienda del Sol in Tucson, Arizona, Dan McCoog developed Wine-ovations, a wine consulting firm that keeps him busy teaching wine classes and advising restaurants on their wine lists. Also, Dan is soon to open "Sliders," a wine bar/retail store in Ventura County, CA. Dan continues to wine judge at various competitions in between traveling to and from Tucson.
