The 2012 San Francisco Chronicle Wine Competition Judges' Dinner was hosted by The Hess CollectionOpens new window, in their historic stone winery atop Mount Veeder in Napa.  Judges enjoyed the opportunity to socialize while viewing The Hess Art Collection, one of the world's most notable collections of contemporary art, prior to enjoying the offerings of Hess Executive Chef Chad Hendrickson and Director of Winemaking Dave Guffy in the West Gallery, home to the iconic Franz Gertsch painting Johanna II.
